Finally, my new semester has officially started. Settling down always a hard thing to do especially when you are already used to be pampered at home during your holiday. Handling and moving 4 bags full of clothes and 3 boxes of books did nothing to help. Did I mention I have to move my things out from the third floor (fourth floor for some) to the same floor but in a different block? I actually took the full week to transfer all the boxes with help of my friends. With lecturers are in their high spirit to start the class straight away, I am really looking forward for this weekend.

I don't usually blogging during a weekend and if you noticed, I rarely talk about my college's life too, but I guess now everything has changed and I have to adapt with the current situation, which is not enough time and slow internet connection. You should have done the same too. In a new and strange environment, adaptation is a vital for the sustainability of our species. Although your situation may not be that bad, I am assure you that my new college life does. Juggling with Process Dynamic and Control, Environment Engineering and Management, Separation Process and Chemical Reaction Engineering books on one hand and two blogs to handle and a mandatory English lesson one other hand sure took most of the time and energy out of my hand.

Before long, I am quite sure that my hands usage will be something in the past and my abilities to talk and walk like a normal person will soon be gone. Much to my resentment for studying yet again one of the most 'reactive' studies in the world (you would be killed or jailed - either one, if you're mistakenly blow up any chemical plants or reactors), I am pretty thrilled to begin this new semester. One for sure was due to the fact that my scholarship increase which almost double from the last semester, and my new room and roommates were not half bad either. It's a good feeling when people trying to be nice with you and getting to know you.

I have to admit that I am a little nervous to be back behind the desk to study Technical and Engineering English (in a simple word, an compulsory English lesson for future engineers) after missing out almost three years of formal English education. Nevertheless, my nervousness seem to be drown by the female lecturer who choice of words and tone of conversation easily motivated me up. Trying to talks adults to go back and start reading again (we are required to read something that has a real information in it) without sounds like a mom's nagging is a hard thing to do. You need a very good and highly experience lecturer to be able to deliver something like that.

Those pictures were taken through out my 3 years study in School of Chemical Engineering, Engineering Campus, University Sains Malaysia. I will still be here for another 2 years of studies. Most of the pictures were taken only after a heavy rain that swept our campus through out the 365 days. That is the only time our campus looks like a real green campus. With palm oil trees and man made lakes. For your information, this campus only contain the engineering students, further away from any outrages and overly dressed students from different schools in the main campus (such as Art students who were famous with their crooked sense of style). Here, the statistic in the couple years shows that there are recorded decrease of nerd species but a considerable influx of geeks were enrolling in. I am sure hope I will be counted to be on the par with average normal students. No offense.

At the end of June, I received an interview questions from Bluedreamer27 who runs Bluedreamer's TOP 5. That was when I knew that my blog, Hot Shit Form Here was The Interesting Blog of The Month - June 2008. Thrilled by the award and with a body temperature almost 40 degree Celsius - I was having a fever, not due to the award acceptance, I replied all the questions as soon and I can and email it back to Bluedreamer. Needless to say, he was then posted it in his monthly blog of the month section and I suddenly felt much better. Although I honestly kind of embarrassed when I reread it again. Wow! I really need a pinch right now. This award sure will goes well with my Award Gallery. Not wanting to leave my over the moon feeling stop here, I will now present some of you, my personally made award which I haven't been giving for quite some times, You Are Awesome Award! With "Thank you, For doing me a favor by reading my blog. I owe you one" that goes along with it. Sorry because it wasn't so great looking like the usual award, I really can't describe more of my feeling of gratitude other than using words.

I also want to give You Are Awesome Award to Noemesuff - who I pretty sure a rocker hidden behind the skin of a mother, to Moeha Aziz - who words of wisdom flowing like a river (I hope still strong as before fighting for his disease), Faisal Admar - who I really enjoy being his friend, Fara - who is a beauty and lazy a pianist, Farah Deen - who talks about her two kids and her adventures life very well (she also loves traveling as I am), Axim - who blogs daily (I always respect people who could post daily posts, I know it's harder than saying it), to Katunx - who has a hand of photographer and a blog full of humors, E-tavasi - a blogger from Sabah, Malaysia who loves to play games and blogs about almost everything, Coolingstar9 - who short posts very mind stimulating and also to Fishy@ike - also is an intellectual thinker like Akmal. I wonder how many other mind blowing bloggers around. They are like an extinct species, I hope they will around more often. A good read always the best way to spend your a day long internet usage.

Finally. Back to my college and will soon start all over again as a student in my daily life. The months of holiday have actually done me good to face yet another hectic, hormone rising, non syllable words dashing, throat torturing (from the lecturers, of course) and yet another interesting life. After all, student's life is when we spent a big chuck of our dreams and soul. Not to mention the couples of stupid things that we done which we later applaud it or regret. Some of it we done in the name of helping ourselves and other, just to help our friends. I will rather talk about the latter as it would not sound like am all about myself again and again. But don't worry, I will put my personal touch in this post too as I know my life experiences will change your life and the way you will see it. Well, at least 10 seconds (or may be less) after you read this.

Will you do your friend a favor? You should answer the question truthfully and a "Yeah right" is the best answer. It could be the longer "Yeahhhhhh..." follow up with the shorter and end abruptly "right." or the shorter "Yeah, right" and hopefully the more honest version of it. I am not sure if you are getting this, but most of us (a normal person who actually has a real feeling, minus the politicians - yeah, right) will have to endure with this feeling and more guilt that came along with it. You sometime will feel guilty after you agreed to help your best friend to hold his hand through out a monstrous-dentist-appointment that he was afraid damn freaking out, just to noticed that your red and swollen hand the next morning or when you are helping your friend doing something personal until it comes a little bit more personal than you expected. And what they called the term nowadays? Oh yes, "Friend With Benefits".

What I am trying to say is, we all have tried so hard to be the best friend he or she ever had by helping them to do lot of things and yet in some occasion we will feel unappreciated. To make matter worst, we, ourselves also sometimes forgot to acknowledge the helps from our dearest friends. Just a thanks or a friendly hug would mean a lot better for you and your friend. After all, just keep in mind that they may be have done something that isn't so pleasant for themselves in the name of doing a friend a favor. "Will you do your friend a favor?" should be changed to "Are you appreciating your friend's favor?" It is a must done thing to do for a stranger managed to walk into your life and became from a stranger to an acquaintance and then become a friend, and finally in doing so you will keep he or she for the rest of your life.

What are your the most worst or best favor that you have done to your friend? For me, the top five favors are:

1. Checking for my best friend who was also my ex-girlfriend the show time for a romantic movie in cinemas, so that she and her boy friend will have the night for cuddling with each other when watching this movie.
2. Did I mention that when I was in one of the cinemas websites, I was infected by spyware? What a bummer. (The site was later being blocked by Google)
3. Spending a dreadful hour in dentist with my friend I told earlier. He did not rightfully say that he was going to a dentist. He said he wanted to visit a doctor after we back from spending another hour earlier in a coffee house slipping cups of caffeine - which I later learned that he wanted to reduce his nerve activities before the dentist appointment.
4. As a regular offender for this favor, I always keep in my mind to not ever doing it again, but I fail every single time. The big favor is - accompany a girl friend shopping.
5. Letting your friend copying your answer during examination and ended up getting busted. As all of the students in my primary school class knew who the only person in loves Sailor Moon so much that you wrote the questions asking for the answer on a paper with drawings of a full frontal Sailor Moon's character on it. That would be my friend of course and not me. Then she later left the paper laying on the table after the exam just to get picked up by the teacher.
   

So, there you go. Top five favors that I think I won't try to do it again in the future. I am sure hope you don't.
