Without Hope & Dream, the World is nothing

TV Series
I spent a large portion of my time in a week by watching lots of TV series. Some of my favorites would be American Idol, The Biggest Loser and Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC). All which involved singing, reducing weight and dancing respectively, and the fact that I can’t sing (the glass will shatter as my voice hit the shrieking highest note, seriously), the biggest I have been was around 58 kg (128 pounds) and I pretty sure I don’t know how to dance, always bedazzled me on why do I love so much watching these three shows. Unlike The Big Bang Theory or CSI where I can relate with my background education in biology, chemistry and physic, I have no passion in singing or dancing and I have no intention of losing any weight at this moment.

Nevertheless, these shows spark hopes and dreams to me and I believed, many of us in the world. Thank Thanks to the high connection speed and satellite TV, these TV series reached out to some of the most secluded parts in the world, which for me is in Malaysia. In the American Idol, you will watch how these ordinary people (who can sing, of course) changed their life. While in The Biggest Loser you will be inspired on how to live a good and healthy lifestyle. Whereas through program show like ABDC you will be mesmerized on how dedication, passion and precision of movements can be translated into beautiful dance routines.

Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew
The highlight of ABDC this season would be the ABDC Champions for Charity where each of their previous seasons’ winners were performing to their respective charity groups or individuals; including the Less Than Half (specialized on amputee), Young, Beautiful and HIV Positive that creates awareness of HIV among young people and The Sparkle Effect where they started a group of cheerleaders for those who had disabilities. Just around the corner would be American Idol Gives Back where it will channel funds and help to some deserved areas all over the world. The sneak peak of it showed how important the mosquito nets for countries in Africa. I am all for a good cause ya!

Question for The Day #3

The winner for QFTD

What is the biggest decision that you had made and how do you decide that is the right one? - Road Not Taken

Winner of Question for The Day #3

The Winner: Shandye!
Site: Ngomel Sikit
Answer:

the biggest decision that i have made thus far is the one that i decides to quit my study at uitm in 2006, prior to the fact that my doctor's advising me to fasten my heart-muscle reduction operation.

it saddens me to leave law fac as i love it so much, it hurts more to leave it in comparison to undergoing that operation.

nonetheless, i felt extremely blessed for the fact that i am selected to join ukm 2 years after that (after 8 months of pure resting and cardiovascular exercises in ijn) and still be able to proceed with my tertiary education, even though it is a different course altogether.

I really can't imagine myself being in his shoes. Hopefully Shandye is able to live his life to the fullness right now. On the other hand, I watched this HIGHlarious video about making decision when you're finding a job. You know, what you want to do after you finish study and stuff. I just can't stop laughing after watching this video. Keywords: Ke$ha, Suicide hotline and pubic hair. Weird combination. Anyway, jump to see the video from one of my favorite guy in You Tube, Shane Dawson! By the way, I will link the first three commenters for this post as well. I hope I will be able to post another update later this day. *Crossing fingers*

The Road Not Taken

Taking Risk
Image from Bluecrystaldude's Tumblr

In life, you will always come across with making decisions. And in every decisions that you made, there always a glimpse of risk that come with it. Whether you’re trying to decide to go for lunch at Restaurant A and then saw that the restaurant is closed, or you’re going to have to choose between your loved one and your friends to spend the time together, or you’re at the intersection of making the biggest career decision in your life. In the end, it always comes to yourself whether you want to take a chance by doing one thing instead of the other.

In time of making one of those decisions, I always remember the poem written by Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken. You never know whether you had made the right decision or not. No matter how it will turn to be, eventually, you will have to face the responsibilities of your decision. Hurm. But it never stops me from wondering what the other road had to offer.

Make a Decision
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Question for The Day
What is the biggest decision that you had made and how do you decide that is the right one?

My answer would be in the beginning of my degree study. I had the opportunity to choose on what degree should I take and in the end, I chose to do degree in chemical engineering. Whether I had made the right decision? No one will ever know.

Ada Aku Kisah? – Do I Care?

I don't care
Happy Monday everyone! Since I already participated in Music Monday last week, I will have to pass for this week and I wrote this post instead. I was not around in blogsphere last weekend since I have been busy finishing my design project part 1 for semester 2 that is due on this Wednesday; just another typical student’s life. Sigh.

So, back to the post. “Ada Aku Kisah” means “Do I Care” (direct translation from Bahasa Melayu) or in a way or another also means “I Don’t Care”. This phrase has been circulated like a wild fire lately. Whether through status in Facebook, Twitter and even was done verbally by some with pride. I freaking hate this phrase so much until I bother to even write this most-probably-will-sound-childish post.

In most cases, people who uttered this phrase are trying hard to look cool. Examples of the situations are something like this:

“Hey man! Look, I know your King has passed away and you’re in grieving mode and all, but I just emotionally retarded don’t care. I am.”

Or people like to use it to post in general places such as in Facebook, without explaining why he or she posted it in the first place. For example like this (in Facebook status):

A: Ada aku kesahhh?? *the word “kesah” was purposely spelled this way. It’s just another way to promote a healthy spelling habit among teenagers*
ME: why? I noticed lots of people are posting the same status lately..
A: Do I look like I care??
ME: No, you don’t. *and I deleted this fella straight away*

I am not sure how people respond to this I Don’t Care attitude, but to me it shows how ignorant bastards that you are. You don’t care about what’s going on around you, you don’t care about what people next to you feel, you don’t care about what’s happening to your country, what’s the future of yourselves, you don’t have the ability to interact with others well, and the most annoying thing that comes out from this phrase is “you are an asshole and enjoy being one”.

Oh please Lord. Delete all these fellas from their Facebook account, Twitter account and just delete them all from this existence.

Hah. There you go. How do you respond to this phrase if you happen to be the unlucky ones to hear it? Do you kill kick that person in the stomach? *please do*

Life's Greatest Lesson (Part I)

Life's Greatest Lesson
I lay on my bed for a whole hour before decided to start typing a little story that has been running in and out of my mind lately. The weather outside is breezy with the sign of heavy rain is coming. After spending all morning attending Interaction Day with my juniors (will tell more on that later), I just spent the last two hours rejuvenating myself. Accompanied by a hot caffeinated drink, with my roommate is sound asleep, I have the perfect space and tagline (Hot Shit Form Here new tagline; Life and More) to share with you the life’s greatest lesson.

What is the life’s greatest lesson? I once asked the same question to one of my high school favorite teachers on this subject. I still remember what his answer was; “learn how to live, love and die”.

I have a bubbling question to ask him that night, but my dad already arrived to take me home from the tuition center. Yes, I took additional classes on night with the same teacher who teaches me in the school. There seems to be no point of going there, since he teaches almost the same thing in school, but I need to spend all the time that I can get with him. And he’s one of the unique people I ever met until this day. He moves quite fast for a person with a limp leg and has the ability to detect the slightest change in people’s voice. He gets personal with his students and taught all that he knows.

The subject was chemistry and he was one of the reasons why I am taking a chemical engineering degree. But he also taught me about life; the greatest subject of all.

Life

He once said that what is important in life is to know your own self well. What do you want in life? How you want to live it? By knowing that, you have the ability to see all that matter in your life. You could do life changing decisions and live with it. You could be more true to yourself. And the most important is that is when only you could set priorities in life. The truth is, at a tender age of 17, I barely understand half the words his said. As years past, after skipping through all the awkwardness of teenage life, I am beginning to have a much clearer picture by what he meant.

The more you learn about yourself, the more you know what the best is for you. For some it’s about accomplishments, while for others, it’s about getting lots of money, building a family, contribute to society, being the most popular guy he can be, and the list will goes on and on. No one has the right to determine how you gonna live your life, but you have to consider others in your life. No man can live on the island alone.

Love

With a slight human touch, the life that you have been living in will takes a different turn. Love is all that matters, someone once said. You cannot run from love, others uttered. While the best of life could be discovered in the circle of love, from time to time you will stumble upon a hatred wall that gives you a second though about loving others. And then will comes the cheating, jealousy, anger, insensitivity towards other and not to mention hatred itself.

The simplest way to handle this conflict is to look into own self and ask this question, what is that you looking for in life? Check your priority list, comply with your moral compass and peek into your spiritual guidance and hopefully you will arrive to the answer. Seek your closest one for helps if you failed.

In the second part of this post, I will narrate to you about death - the final part of Life’s Greatest Lesson. Sorry for the long post. I have been looking for the right comeback post. And I hope this will do it. Stay tune for more!

A Place to Escape

A Place to Escape|by: Bluecrystaldude
(Do click to enlarge - I took this picture at Chinatown during my Singapore trip)

When there are problems, I try to escape by going to somewhere else. No, it’s not into some kind of world fantasy. I rather am at a place that is real as possible. One of my favorite places is to be surrounded by people. Just standing there with all the noises of chattering and stomping, I feel I am alone only with my mind. Don’t get me wrong. I love being alone sometimes. I could have a chance to clear up my minds and sorting jumble of pieces that if not, are floating my inner self.

My other escape place:

Imagine everything moves in a slow motion when certain incident is occurring. I just want to capture the beauty of what God has created; especially when the raining is coming, how the breeze shake up the trees, leaves falling down and how people running to bring in their wet clothes – people in Malaysia loves to hang up their laundry under the sun. It is amazing!

Watching people in motion; everyone seems to know where their destination is.

There you go. I hate to leave this post this short. But I still have another two papers to kill; this Monday and the last one on Wednesday. I will be back to my hometown in Johor on Thursday night, start packing and went straight to Kuala Lumpur for my industrial training (practical training, internship, whatever you call it) on the next day. Oh, and I also must finish my journal for a writing competition before the end of April. God, I am sure had my hand full.

Anyway, where are your favorite places to escape? I am sure you must have your favorite place to go :)

P/S: I need to start taking pictures again. I missed my camera!

Being Different

Greetings to all my faithful readers. I am sorry for abandoning Hot Shit Form Here for these past few weeks. I know I may have said sorry-s for the million times, but I just couldn’t say it enough. I have been occupied with my study and other extracurricular activities that I have participated in. No, my study is unfortunately still not explosive as a chemical reaction could be, but I did notice few colleagues who are walking around with a pair of jean with sprinkles of holes (Which I am pretty sure was made by strong acids that we use during experiments) on it and in one incident, I actually managed to dodge a steel-made-pump’s knob from shooting through my eyes at a very high pressure. God, I am lucky.

Nevertheless, life goes on and I will tell you more about other activities in next posts (I have lots of things to write but just don’t have enough time to spill it out one by one). Amidst of these madness, I managed to watch an award winning movie this weekend, Milk. I cried at the last moment when Harvey Milk and the mayor were shot. Let me assured you, I only cry when I am watching movies and the only movies I cried were The Great Debater, Changeling and this Sean Penn’s movie. Yes, if you notice, the movies share the same sentiment in it; about a struggle and hopes when you are being a minority (or in my case, being different).

The Great Debater is a story about a group of underdog students from a small African American college in the deep south shaped into a historically elite debate team. Meanwhile Changeling touches a subject of a mother looking for her lost son against the corrupted policemen. Which brought us to the last movie that I dropped my valuable tears (and hopefully not the end); Milk that talks about how California’s first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk, a San Francisco supervisor who was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone by San Francisco Supervisor Dan White. I am not talking about the sexual orientation differences in this post, but I will highlight more on the struggles of being different.

"And I know you can't live on hope alone, but without hope, life is not worth living" - Harvey Milk

Minority’s issues and rights are always close to my heart. Yes, I belong to the majority ethnic group in my country, but still, I will always belong to a minority when it comes to speak my mind. What I am trying to say is that I have thousands of ideas and thoughts to be shared with others, but I was afraid to see the way the community surround me will react when they hear it. Most of the ideas are considered sensitive and could easily offend others that have been clogged with so called ‘eastern values’ of living (but I am not disagree with all of the values either). Differences will make you stand out from others (here, they will call you a weirdo), if you disagree with the majority, they will say you are wrong and when you try to speak up your mind, your friends will try to shut it down because others will press negative judgments on you.

Yes, that is the main reason why I started this site. With this blog, I could reach to more open minded audiences that could listen to my ideas and give healthy feedback that I needed. I trust my readers and their impeccable intelligences that they could give me intellectual moments with them. I am tired of bottling up my thoughts which I am sure one day will be just like the steel-made-pump’s knob that shot me in a very high pressure but this time, it will shoot me right through my brain instead of my eyes. Thank you for reading this 610 (and still counting) words post. See you again next time. Till then, have a nice day!

P/S: I would like to wish one of my loyal readers, LadyJava a wonderful Happy 40th Birthday! I hope you will live a happy ever after life with your beloved friends and family. Happy Birthday LJ!

Corruption of Youth

I don't give a shit, poster, shit, teenager

I did write a post about Understand Your Teenage Son’s Language, but I never know that the corruption of youth is more complicated than that. Earlier today, after a week of hell (it wasn’t a vacation, trust me), I was permitted a day off (only after I finished attending a seminar from 8am to 12pm) to get away from the piles of workload on my desk so that I could go out and have a blast with my friends. Up till now, it turned out to be the day to remember in this new born year.

The day started out well with the countless trips to the boutiques, one after another (shopping is indeed the best way to reduce stress) before I went into a 90 minutes of unnecessary high pitch screaming and heart raping sound effects from the movie, KM31: Hell Highway (Click here for the movie review). The movie was said to be based on the true story, which make me wonder, if your life is that amazing, my life story would be painfully boring. Of course, if you consider seeing ghost, your sister in coma and your friends were killed by ghosts is amazing. It’s not a bad movie, but it’s not the reason why today is a memorable day.

As I was waiting for my friends, I eavesdropping a group of teenagers not higher than 12 years old talking near the escalator. There were about 10 of them including 2 girls. They all dressed up in punk and/or skinhead dresses (I couldn’t tell them apart) including Sex Pistol supposed to be vintage jacket, tight jeans, high cut Converse shoes, skin tight shirts and one of the girls even wears an inverted cross necklace. One of the boys ask his friend whether he was masturbating last night and when he said he was not, the boy went on and said something like this, “Well, I hope your semen (seeds) will be concentrated enough when you dip your dick in her today,” while pointing to the girl who’s wearing the inverted cross.

Did I tell you that all of them are Malay and most probably are Muslim? Minus the religion’s belief, the fact that they talked about women as a sex object in that early age only show how corrupted the youth today. I am not even sure they already producing enough semen for reproducing at that early age, let alone wanted it to be concentrated enough to fulfill her sexual needs. The word that came crossed my mind at that time was gangbang how old exactly those kids? I am pretty sure that if I am asking them a simple mathematic multiplication problem, they couldn’t answer it correctly.

What really bothers me afterwards was not the fact that I didn’t say anything to them, but the care less feeling that I have at that moment – the feeling that I had nothing to do with them. At the end of the day, I did feel bad for not being the one who knocks the senses back in them and my care less feeling towards others. The corruption of youth; not only in the sexual matter, depletion in spiritual beliefs and the degradation of their morality, will always be a problem if no one is bothers to put the stop sign (or at least a break) in them. A guidance hand is all they need. I hope that if you have the opportunity to meet one of this same behavioral youth, do give him a piece of advice rather than to keep it to yourselves.

P/S: I am quite busy finishing all my assignments and projects as I and 29 others will be off to Singapore on 17th January until 22nd January under an educational and career visit program organized by my university. I really hope that all my loyal readers and friends will understand my situation. Thank you for all your precious times visiting me here, only to see Hot Shit Form Here without any new updates. I miss you all!

Do You Remember a Thing Called BOOK?

This is how I feel right now | source

My house lost its electricity earlier this day. We have to wait for 9 hours before it was repaired, thanks to our slow government’s customer services. Anyway, after endless hours of sleeping in the hot dry air, (11 hours to be exact; included the midnight sleep and all those short napping) with nothing else to do, I decided to search deep in my bag for a book which I brought home from college.

The book is American Gods by Neil Gaiman (read more about the book after the jump). It has been a while since I touch a real book. Not magazines and school related books. So, when I read this real book, I had this old feeling creep up in me; the urge to finish the book as soon as possible, the excitement with every turned page and the carefree feeling wandering around the fantasy world created by the author.

Then was I realized that how I much I missed reading. I remembered when I was still in the high school I will read at least two books in a month. One book could be finished in three days. My parent will provide me a special book allowance in addition to other allowances just to satisfy my addiction.

However, the older I became, the less book I read. With the workload keep increasing and my attentions were diverged by other forms of entertainment; namely internet and peer pressure (always blame others not yourself), I became less and less care about book.

People should start reading again. I don’t think internet will ever replaced books. Yes, they are expensive and quite bulky when you could easily downloaded an e-book from the internet and put it in your phone, but the always a feeling reading a conventional book that could not be replaced. I am not sure how to describe it in words, but the feeling is there.

When the last time you read book? What was it about? Do you think traditional book will be lost in time and perhaps one day we could only see it in a museum?

Oh, how I missed reading.

====
(This is not a paid post)

American Gods is such an amazing book! Filled with wild (and sometimes scary imagination). Let me extract some of it here:
Gods die. And when they truly die they are unmourned and unremembered. Ideas are more difficult to kill than people, but they can be killed, in the end.
What are the gods he talking about? Descriptions about one of the gods he found in his dream:
He was standing beside a statue of a woman-like thing: her naked breasts hung, flat and pendulous on her chest, around her waist was a chain of severed hands, both of her own hands held sharp knives, and instead of a head, rising from her neck there were twin serpents, their bodies arched, facing each other, ready to attack.
I still haven’t finished the book yet, but I think I should warn you that this is quite a disturbing book. Interesting but it will paint vivid images in your mind. If I were you, I will not read it while I'm eating.
. . . By turns thoughtful, hilarious, disturbing, uplifting, horrifying and enjoyable — and sometimes all at once - St. Louis Post-Dispatch

20 years of my life

After living in this world for 20 years, it is now time to take a step back and reflect on myself. Even though I have yet to achieve any great achievements that I dreamt off; such as finding a cure for cancer or help in developing my country in advance science technology, or build a machine that one day will be used to increase the level of unity among others with a push of a button, I secretly felt that I have took a step towards it.

A walk through my life must be quite an enjoyable journey. I have developed certain skills that my peer could only dream off, like how to find the correct proportion in my social skill so that women are comfortable with me and men are enjoying my company. Or how I think that I have matured enough to stand by my own self but yet knew when to depend on others.

Yes, I am just only stepping into my 21st year of my life but I already full with myself. LOL. I am open for more adventures that my life would offer in the near future. I cannot write any further since I will be having my Separation examination tomorrow morning, but I am sure will be touched more on this subject later. Have a nice week. My examinations will end on 17th November 2008. See you soon!

In the God's Will, Everything Lies

For those who already follow my Twitter, you might already know that one of my uncles died of heart attack on the second day of Eid ul-Fitr. This is a newspaper report about him. This is just a remainder how in the God's will, everything lies. Even though it is the time of happiness in celebrating Eid ul-Fitr, we still need to remember that everything could happen in this world, no matter when and where. May God bless his soul. Amin.

KUALA LUMPUR: Police deputy internal security and public order director Datuk Jamaluddin Khalid died yesterday. He was 56.

Jamaluddin, who was in Johor to celebrate Hari Raya, collapsed in his hotel room.

He was taken to Kluang Hospital but attempts to resuscitate him failed.

Jamaluddin will, perhaps, be best remembered for his association with motorcycles, both as a lawman and as an aficionado of big bikes.

A former president of the Superbikers Association of Malaysia (SAM), he spearheaded a campaign against illegal racing, together with then federal traffic chief Datuk Supian Amat when he was Supian's deputy in 1998.
They went on a two-week campaign which saw 54 hellriders being slapped with jail sentences.

He went on the offensive against illegal racers again when he became the city's public order and traffic chief in 2004.

Jamaluddin's previous posting was as the Sabak Bernam district police chief, preceded by stints as the Petaling Jaya deputy chief and Selangor deputy traffic chief in the late 1990s.

He is survived by his wife, Datin Posiah Abu Bakar, and three children.

The Middle Child War

The Middle East Child War

I could only found this picture that capture us all

Even before all the Middle East wars fuss, this war has long begun and forgotten. It seems like it never will ends. It is the greatest war of all time. When the second child is born, it slips into each family like a silent but deadly gas bomb. Before long you could be suffocated by it. Some may survive this war and will be remembered as a hero, some would be the greatest man of all time, while others will ends up being a psycho killer.

What do you feel if you are born as a middle child? A battle for conquest called “attention” and for some just for a “hard-to-earn love”. This is not a war that should be taken lightly. I always wonder why there is no book that being made about this war – not that I am aware off. If Sun Tzu able to make a book about Art of War centuries ago and still now is used as company strategies, I am sure I could use some help on the art of middle child war...

Growing up as a middle child can make the youngster feel like they go unnoticed by his parents. The oldest children are held in high esteem due to their accomplishments while the youngest are coddled and babied. The middle child may feel as if he has to struggle just to get noticed. Parents tend to expect more from their youngest and oldest children as it may be difficult for them to define their expectations for the middle child.

The middle child may also constantly compare themselves to the other siblings, especially the older ones. He may seek interests in different areas that will allow them to stand apart from their elder. This attention-seeking attitude also tends to make the middle children the risk-takers, often participating in dangerous sports or choosing careers that have an element of danger and/or risks involved. They also like to do their own way when dealing with established ideas. They are innovators and thinkers.

Some famous middle children include J.F.K., Richard Nixon, Cindy Crawford, Madonna, Donald Trump, Barbara Walters, Michael Dell and Bill Gates. Each of these people is an example of just how successful middle children can become. Each of them have gone their own way and become role models for others.

A middle son does not receive the love of being the first pearl of the family. He does not have the attention of being the last seed of love in the family. He will always be compared to the earlier siblings and has to fight even for a new cloth (unless your father is a filthy rich). The life of middle son may not be easy, but the values you can learn from being a middle child are priceless. What does not kill us makes us stronger. I am sure glad to be born as a middle child.

How about you? Are you the first, middle or youngest child? Do you glad you are born in that order? What is your life experience that makes you stronger?

What is the perfect age to get married?

Photo from Flickr

When two people are under the influence of the most violent, most insane, most delusive, and most transient of passions, they are required to swear that they will remain in that excited, abnormal, and exhausting condition continuously until death do them part. ~ George Bernard Shaw, Getting Married, 1908

Click to hear the song Here Comes The Bride:

Why we are getting married? For some, the rest of their life will be like a carrion crows who is trying to survive just to live another day of fight and dismay. That is why you should have a little help, called patient so that you would not just end up regretting your life but you still have to live with it. After all, everyone has a dream to be married once (a statement not a rhetoric question). Some prefer to be marriage when they already have a stable career, a nice home and enclosed with a good social environment.

For others, they prefer to get married at an early age, mostly 18-23. Some are firm believer that we should be married at the first love that we had, or that if we wait a little bit longer, the right person may just walks pass by without our noticed. Others, believe in spontaneous act or when adrenaline hormone urges to a certain level (may or may not be due to abundant booze, boobs and drugs) have to get married just to fill an annulment hours after that (Read Britney Spears).

But in some part of the world, most commonly in South Asia and Saharan Africa, the children there did not have the right to choose, they were forced to. Their parents may consent to child marriage out of economic necessity, or because they believe marriage will protect girls from sexual assault and pregnancy outside marriage, extend girls’ childbearing years or ensure obedience to their husband’s household. From UNICEF report on 2007, 36 per cent of women aged 20-24 were married or in union before they even reached their 18th birthday. Child marriage is a long-standing tradition in areas where it is practices, making protest sometimes barely possible.

So, if you ask me, what is the perfect age for me to marriage, I will say around 25-30 years old. I will graduate with my degree when I am 23, settle down as a junior engineer in my scholar’s firm for 4 years. Buy a comfortable house, the latest hybrid car and enjoying my years of traveling, parties and social meeting every before I move into the real adult age at 30 (young adult age should be around 20-29). My partner should be around 23-35 years old. I do not mind a matured one, if she is still keep in shape and has more experienced than I am – I will go and chase her if I feel that she is the right one for me.

Several factors to be consider when you are deciding your perfect age for marriage:

1. Career
2. Self achievement
3. Finances including assets and property
4. Physical attraction and emotion attachment
5. and the most important is Mr. or Mrs. Right

Three rings of marriage are the engagement ring, the wedding ring, and the suffering. ~ Author Unknown

Of course, this is only a plan. In the end, we leave it to God to do His wonders. Marriage: a knot of two souls, two live and two families.

To have and to hold,
From this day forward,
For better, for worse,
For richer, for poorer,
In sickness and in health,
To love and to cherish,
'Till death do us part

Kindly note, I would love to hear comments from marriage couples to those who still single, to share their thought upon this matter. Your comment may or may not be used or publish for educational purposes only. I really appreciate your comments.

>> HOT NEWS THIS WEEK: Is World Getting Crazier?

Seriously, who would say something like that? Except for wars, poverty, food crisis, oil price skyrocketing, market slumming, environmental disasters and the surge of sex related crimes, the world is fine. We (at least the readers of my blog) are still alive and kicking frantically clicking through the webs. Nevertheless, we should stop for a while and reflects our world conditions. No, I am not talking about nature and how to save them again, not yet.

News 1: A Racist Grandmother

A grandmother, who has a daughter and three grandchildren, was woken three times by a group of drunken and noisy students, who were shouting drunkenly and kicking bins. The former policewoman got dressed, went outside and shouted at them:

"Why can't you go back to where you come from and make some noise there? I bet your families and neighbors wouldn't put up with it. You don't care about us and do just as you like. What gives you the right to frighten my elderly neighbors, cause damage and keep us awake at night?"

And 4 months later, she was charged for using racially aggravated threatening words. It turned out that two Asians in the group had complained to the police. In her defend:

"The last thing I am is a racist. I have a totally inclusive attitude to different races and cultures - I don't care if you are black, white, green or a Martian. Their color had nothing to do with it - it was their behavior."
Well, I am an Asian too. But I don't think what she did is racist. The 51 years-old just trying to get some sleep for God sake. This incident only shows that authorities today are willing to charged without using any common sense. Not that I agree that racism should left unpunished, we just need to consider the facts and situations before any further harm was done. Racism should be handled delicately as it is a very sensitive issue (Malaysian government, please take note).

News 2: First Man In World to Give Birth Shows His Child

"Thomas Beatie says he is just like any other normal father. But he is about as far as you could be from typical. He claims to have given birth to the child. Although born a woman, Beatie had his breasts removed and lives outwardly as a man after changing his gender to male. The 34-year-old says he retained his female sex organs because he intended to have children one day." - Daily Mail

Okay, the truth is he is still she as she still has female sex organs, but to make my writing easier, I will refer to the individual as he. I already read months ago about this news. Although he has not given birth then. The buzz of 'the miracle' never got to me because he was not born as a male, just change his gender later. Nevertheless, after I saw the pictures of his innocent daughter, my heart touched. I really hope that her parent will deliver to their daughter the news that the person who actually given her birth was her father instead of her mother.

This is not a really great news to debate with, and I do not specified my view of this matter. I just want to know what do you think about it.

New 3: What is in a name?

There are many weird names in this planet. Just check the celebrities children names. It ranges from the Moon and to the Inspector Gadget. I once wrote a post about name and pronunciation complaining about how my name is hard to pronounce. But, I will be much pleased with my name (and I am pretty sure everyone else will pleased with their name too) compared to this 9 years-old who name is Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii - for real.

That's the unfortunate appellation a girl was given by her parents - but now a New Zealand judge has ordered she should become a ward of court until she can choose a name she really likes. She is at the center of a custody battle. A family court judge cited a list of unfortunate names that he said were embarrassing or made children seem foolish among their peers.

Some names, including Fish and Chips (twins), Yeah Detroit, Stallion, Twisty Poi, Keenan Got Lucy and Sex Fruit, were blocked by registration officials, he said. But others were allowed, including Number 16 Bus Shelter, Midnight Chardonnay, Benson and Hedges (twins) 'and tragically, Violence,' the judge said.

And now, who said the world is getting crazier? I am sure the insanity of this world is not comparable from other planets in this galaxy. Just hope that the last shows of insanity before the world end is Paris Hilton will be married and settle down with her four kids. We all deserve that kind of insanity.

Doing A Favor

Finally. Back to my college and will soon start all over again as a student in my daily life. The months of holiday have actually done me good to face yet another hectic, hormone rising, non syllable words dashing, throat torturing (from the lecturers, of course) and yet another interesting life. After all, student's life is when we spent a big chuck of our dreams and soul. Not to mention the couples of stupid things that we done which we later applaud it or regret. Some of it we done in the name of helping ourselves and other, just to help our friends. I will rather talk about the latter as it would not sound like am all about myself again and again. But don't worry, I will put my personal touch in this post too as I know my life experiences will change your life and the way you will see it. Well, at least 10 seconds (or may be less) after you read this.

Will you do your friend a favor? You should answer the question truthfully and a "Yeah right" is the best answer. It could be the longer "Yeahhhhhh..." follow up with the shorter and end abruptly "right." or the shorter "Yeah, right" and hopefully the more honest version of it. I am not sure if you are getting this, but most of us (a normal person who actually has a real feeling, minus the politicians - yeah, right) will have to endure with this feeling and more guilt that came along with it. You sometime will feel guilty after you agreed to help your best friend to hold his hand through out a monstrous-dentist-appointment that he was afraid damn freaking out, just to noticed that your red and swollen hand the next morning or when you are helping your friend doing something personal until it comes a little bit more personal than you expected. And what they called the term nowadays? Oh yes, "Friend With Benefits".

What I am trying to say is, we all have tried so hard to be the best friend he or she ever had by helping them to do lot of things and yet in some occasion we will feel unappreciated. To make matter worst, we, ourselves also sometimes forgot to acknowledge the helps from our dearest friends. Just a thanks or a friendly hug would mean a lot better for you and your friend. After all, just keep in mind that they may be have done something that isn't so pleasant for themselves in the name of doing a friend a favor. "Will you do your friend a favor?" should be changed to "Are you appreciating your friend's favor?" It is a must done thing to do for a stranger managed to walk into your life and became from a stranger to an acquaintance and then become a friend, and finally in doing so you will keep he or she for the rest of your life.

What are your the most worst or best favor that you have done to your friend? For me, the top five favors are:
  1. Checking for my best friend who was also my ex-girlfriend the show time for a romantic movie in cinemas, so that she and her boy friend will have the night for cuddling with each other when watching this movie.
  2. Did I mention that when I was in one of the cinemas websites, I was infected by spyware? What a bummer. (The site was later being blocked by Google)
  3. Spending a dreadful hour in dentist with my friend I told earlier. He did not rightfully say that he was going to a dentist. He said he wanted to visit a doctor after we back from spending another hour earlier in a coffee house slipping cups of caffeine - which I later learned that he wanted to reduce his nerve activities before the dentist appointment.
  4. As a regular offender for this favor, I always keep in my mind to not ever doing it again, but I fail every single time. The big favor is - accompany a girl friend shopping.
  5. Letting your friend copying your answer during examination and ended up getting busted. As all of the students in my primary school class knew who the only person in loves Sailor Moon so much that you wrote the questions asking for the answer on a paper with drawings of a full frontal Sailor Moon's character on it. That would be my friend of course and not me. Then she later left the paper laying on the table after the exam just to get picked up by the teacher.

So, there you go. Top five favors that I think I won't try to do it again in the future. I am sure hope you don't. Anyway, please share with us some if not all, favors that you have done just in the name of friendship and let us all appreciate it together (and having some laugh in between). Have a great day,

News 1: Boy Eaten By Family

When we all thought that became a sex slave to your own father is the worst thing that could happen, just imagine when you're eaten alive by your cannibal family? That had happen exactly to a 7 years-old Czech boy, Ondrej Mauerova. He was rescued alive when a neighbor's TV picked up a footage from his camera filming Ondrej's agony. The neighbor's camera was supposedly captured his newborn child, but instead, ending up with live images of Ondrej naked in the cellar, beaten and chained.

He had been partially skinned after monstrous mum Klara, 31, caged him for months while relatives who were also in a sick cult feasted on his raw flesh, an appalled judge heard yesterday. The mum wept in a Czech court as her evil was exposed in a case echoing the Fritzl dungeon horror in Austria. Ondrej and his helpless brother Jakub, nine, were kept in cages or handcuffed to tables as they were ritually TORTURED, BURNT and WHIPPED with belts.

Cops swooped on the house next door and also freed a girl posing as an adopted sister aged 13 and clutching a teddy. She later turned out to be 34! And was one of the torturers. The story's getting weirder. The boys’ mum accused the woman, fellow cult member Barbora Skrlova for brainwashing her. She wailed, "Terrible things have happened. I realize it and can’t understand how I could have allowed it."

The court in her home city heard the abuse of her children was coordinated via text messages sent by a leader of the Grail Movement cult — who was known only as the "Doctor". Her sister Katerina was also involved. The abuse trial of the boys’ mum, another relative and their bogus sister Skrlova, who fled and was later found posing as a boy in Norway continues. Three others also face charges. (read the full story here)

News 2: When Teenager Pregnancy Become A Trend

The trend believe was started by the films such as Juno and Knocked Up, and was catalyzed furthermore by Britney Spear's younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears who is only 16 when she delivered a baby girl last week. Her now fiance (only after the world knew she was pregnant) was a 19 years-old college dropped out.

17 Girls at Gloucester High School are expecting babies during this summer vacation. This is more than quadruple the number the last year. The school only has 1200 students. I sure believe that before long, baby shower will be inserted in school's curriculum. After back from summer vacation, the new baby mommas will ask each other their new babies' name. The students will be more closed than ever due to the mommy bonding. How amazing would that be? (read the full story here)

News 3: I Lost My Husband, Home and Family Because I Lost My Weight

Caution, this is a very sad story but yet, inspiring for others. I read it so tentatively until I felt like watching one of those Oprah's shows. The character is real and it happen in the real world. Who might thought that slimming down from a dress size 26 to a slender size 10, won the Slimmer of The Year tittle only to ruined her life and family.

Melanie Slinger's weight problems began at 12, when her parents, a naval officer and a health worker were separated. She then married her childhood sweetheart at the age of 19 and continued to put on weight after the birth of her first child, Lucy, in 1985. Michael, 19, and Samantha, 18, followed in quick succession. Then, when Melanie's husband Jonathan, 45, an Air Force engineer, was posted to a remote base in Scotland, Melanie further struggled to cope with the isolation and thus continue to sought comfort by eating.

It took a humiliating incident to finally spur Melanie into action. She was so fat until the safety gear bar on a roller coaster could not got down over her stomach. A few days later, in September 2001, Melanie joined her local Slimming World classes. As she carried on losing weight, her spending began to spiral. She began buying things that she once could not bought (high heels, tops - up to 13 at once shopping spare, trousers). Her new found spending habits landed the family with £10,000 in debt.

She won the tittle of Slimmer of The Year. She loves the new life, feted like a superstar, pictured in magazines and the worst from it, she loves all the attentions. Then, everything else started to fall apart. Her husband even said, "We were happy when you were fat - can't you just put the weight back on." She later lost her husband, home and family. But later, in 2003, after Melanie met her new partner and she now lives in quiet contentment while trying to build up her relationship back with her children.

Moral of the story is, don't matter how much did you change your outer appearances, your inner self must always be as who you are. Do read this full story. It would be a nice remainder to us, and I am sure you won't regret it. (read the full story here)

Great Opinions, Bad Health - Ulcer & Tonsils

I was overwhelmed by the all the responds in my latest post, Change Your Lifestyle (READ THIS HOT POST HERE).
