Car Accident

Rear Left Passenger Door

This is going to be a short post only. Last Friday, when I was driving, my car was slammed by a bus. The bus was departed from its station and trying to avoid another car on his right. Unfortunately, he swayed to the left and hit the rear left passenger door of my car. Thank God my mum and I were left without a scratch.

Meanwhile, I won’t be blogging from tomorrow to Saturday. I will be leaving for Kuantan early tomorrow morning for a short family vacation there. Keep me updated by following my twitter!

Who is Your Hero?

Superman!
Hi there all my favorite readers. I am now enjoying my long deserved holiday in the comfort of my home, home sweet home. Anyway, Music Monday entry for this week is Bon Jovi – Superman Tonight. This is the song from The Circle album. Anyone wants to be a hero, anybody could be a hero. It’s not about how strong are you, or you could fly, or whether you have the power of jumping through walls (which is super cool if you do have), to be a hero, it just need a good heart, a respectable persona and could be an excellent example to others out there. So, question for today, who is your hero? Jump to see who’s mine!

Who's going to fix you
The next time you break down
Stranded alone by the side of the road
It's your baggage that's dragging you down
Don't look back
Let it go

Who's going to save you
When the stars fall from your sky
And who's going to pull you in
When the tide gets too high
Who's going to hold you
When you turn out the lights
I won't lie I wish that I
Could be your superman tonight

My hero would be my father! He always has a very strong point of view (some may intimidated by him) about everything and always has been my mentor in life! Once again, who’s yours?

P/S: Gong Xi Fa Chai, Happy Chinese New Year and happy holiday to you! Happy Valentine's day!

Batik Production

Hi guys! I am in a full swing this weekend. I am still waiting for your reactions on my last post, Life’s Greatest Lesson. Someone was complaining to me the post was ‘quite heavy to take’. So, I am trying to lose it a little bit by posting pictures from my Kelantan trip. I went there with my family and my brother’s fiancé during one of the weekend in between my industrial training.

Kelantan is a state in the north-east of Malaysia. It is an Islamic state, which makes it quite different from the rest of the states. They don’t have night clubs or cinemas there, and even the performers will be wearing scarf or tudung when performing there. Even though 95% of the population are Malay, I am easily impressed when I saw a Chinese talking in Kelantanese dialect.

Sorry for the blurry images. The weather is too hot for me to go outside of the car to snap the pictures. Plus, I was in a moving car at that time. LOL

I suddenly feel like being in Indonesia where all the citizens neglecting their races talks in a unify language; Bahasa Indonesia. Apart from that, Kelantan is famous with its songket and batik, and I have the opportunity to see the making of batik!

You have to be skillful enough to hand painting the design of batik

Since every batik was handpainted, the design is unique only to one batik

It was then brushed to give textures on the batik

Final touch was done

Some dyes that were used

Then, it was washed and left to dry

And ta da! They are ready to be sold!

Singapore Trip

From Paris, France

Hi to all. I will be off to Singapore under my university educational and career visit program tonight (Friday, January 16, 2009). Truth is I am not that excited since I already been to Singapore few times already, mainly for shopping spare, but this is the first time I will go there with my friends and for an educational purposes. I am sure the feeling will be entirely different. To be said at least, it’s not an official vacation. You need to be prepared and do some paper works before getting there.

It’s a sixth day’s trip and I will straight home for Chinese New Year’s and mid semester holiday after that. This means that I will back online on 22nd or 23rd of January. I know I have been neglecting Hot Shit Form Here and my readers these last few weeks (sorry about that), but I assure you that I will active again as soon as I am stepping into my holiday shoes. Till then, please feel free to watch this slideshow about my last vacation in Paris, France.

Thanks for being so understanding. See you again in a week!

My Journey Home

I am home! Well, after stranded on the side of the highway for almost one hour adding up my journey to 10 hours ride, have to hitch up another bus, four seater bus to be exact (I paid for VIP bus) and then have to wait at highway toll for another half an hour since the bus could only drove my other three friends and me there. God, saying that out loud just make me realize how adventures my journey to my hometown was. At least, it makes me more appreciate and savoring my remaining days at home.

As you may have noticed, I already putted up a new header (I hope you guys like it, I really in hurry to finish it) and changed the color of my blog a little bit. This is just for the Eid ul-Fitr a day that Muslim will celebrate in next couple days. This year celebration perhaps will be the busiest year for me since my very helpful and less-appreciated-until-she-gone maid was ending up her contract. My mother doesn’t want to continue the maid's contract or take any new maid until the end of the year just to make sure that whether my dad would take or not a job offer in Kuala Lumpur.

She also hope that she will be transferred from her current work place to a nearer to home by this year end. So, my brothers and I have to do the cleaning jobs around the house. I know, you may be surprised, by it really has been long before I start to take up my finished dish to the sink again. Sigh. How things change. We are not spoiled kids. Yeah, may be a little, but we learn those domestic works from the second best teacher – by observation (the best one is to actually experience doing the job itself, but I don’t think that is the point).

Anyhow, after a tired day (the same day I spent 10 hours on the bus) doing house cleaning, sweeping, cutting grasses – my house seems like in autumn season, we spent the next day doing shopping. It seems like forever we doing the family shopping together too. Well, I guess after all, this Eid ul-Fitr is a special one. Will be missing out for the celebration! Be sure to wait for my celebration update after this!

How do you Show your Country your Appreciation?

Picture from: Urban Collective

No matter how much I complained about this current government; on the corruptions, cronies, political motives, short term planning and no planning at all, high inflation, economy dampness, interfering in jurisdictions, government controlled medias and web sites and less people friendly, just to name the few, I still love being in Malaysia. There is a say, “hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, baik lagi di negeri sendiri” (translation: Even though other countries offer much better things compare to your motherland, it is better still to live in your own country)

Today is the 51st anniversary of independence of Malaysia. I read a tweet from Milkberry asking, “does the fact that you don’t blog about Merdeka or how much you love your country make you a lesser Malaysian?”. It is a good question to be asked around. For me, I do not believe it will makes you less Malaysian, but still it is one of good ways to show your love towards your country. I do not have my own vehicle to put a flag or stickers on to show my patriotic-ness (I just have a bicycle, but the tyres are flatted and 90% of it already rusted). So, although I am in the middle of preparation of two examinations on this Wednesday and Thursday, I make sure that I spend sometimes writing this post.

If you are doing a post about Merdeka or any other country’s Independence Day, do leave me a link. I will add you up in this post!

Posts about Malaysia’s Independence Day (31th August 2008):
  1. Mangosteenskin – Malaysia Month of Independence
  2. Bluecrystaldude’s My Little Black Pot – Show Malaysia Some Love!
  3. Bluecrystaldude’s Hot Shit Form Here – How do you Show your Country your Appreciation?
  4. Love-n-Hate - 51:... It's 31st!!
  5. Love-n-Hate - 52:... Happy Birthday MALAYSIA
  6. Akmal - Merdeka! Merdeka? Yeaaahhh Merdeka!

I am wishing that Malaysia will continue to grow further in the sense of politic stability, equal economic distribution, with consideration of ethnics’ sensitivity, social stabilities and unity of its multiple races and religions citizens. I hope that our country will be more resistant towards problems weather from the outside or inside country, and be more vocal in voicing its opinions. I also hope that there will be improvements in environmental awareness, human rights and government openness policies among others.

Some other activities usually done in celebration of Independence Day:
  1. Watching concerts during the countdown (fireworks included)
  2. Partying all night with friends while keep in mind how hard the oldies achieved the independence (some may also said that they party for those war veterans)
  3. Watching the national marching at the morning of Independence Day (usually being done by kids as older people tends to take the advantage of holiday to wake up late
  4. Playing futsal (could also being used to celebrate New Year) and karaoke (most probably would not be a patriotic song) the whole day
  5. Spending holiday with friends and family in the comfort of home and watching movies all day long
  6. Reduce the carbon burning by spending half or third quarter of day sleeping
Other than these activities, you could also leave me a comment on how do you celebrate your Independence Day’s holiday. I am sure you would find it very amusing how people quench their thirst of creativity on how to spend their holiday. Selamat menyambut kemerdekaan yang ke 51, Malaysia!

Victory Is Sweet

Edited from Flickr | sdosick

It has been ages since my last post. Well, it was 4 days ago, but I do hope you miss my presence here. It has been a hectic week. My workloads have been multiplied every single minute as it approaches my half semester break, which is due on 15th August. Other than watching Never Back Down (5 stars – the actions were very impressive!), Wall-E (4 stars – filled with moral values), The Dark Knight (5 stars - the best summer movie to date) and the latest installment of Mummy (3.5 stars – Just okay and reminds me a lot to National Treasures), I also managed to squeeze my time to read a best selling book called The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.

It was the first book by him, but one of the best books I ever read. I am only half way through the book but already looking forward to buy his second book. (A Thousand Splendid Suns). What amazed me the most is that the author is a doctor. Who would have thought that a doctor could wrote such a beautiful novel to which Washington Post Book World quoted as “a powerful book… No frills, no nonsense, just hard, spare prose”. The book best describe as a remainder for some facts in life that we may be neglected after a hard day at work. The need for a good relationship with subordinates fellow workers, bosses, friends and family.

As I told before, I love to read books. But reading and writing is a totally different story. Nevertheless, I tried (read = forced) to write a technical essay on Energy: A Challenge for Sustainable Development. This essay was for the National Chemical Engineering Symposium 2008 (NACES). It is an annual gathering for chemical engineering undergraduates from both local and private universities all over Malaysia. I have submitted mine just a day before I went to Paris. Rushing and without any guidance from my deputy dean (the person who was supposed to supervise my essay), I thought nothing about winning. And then, last weekend, at the main NACES event in University Putra Malaysia (UPM), I was announced a second runner up. Crap!

I never enter any essay competition in my whole life before. Let alone wrote a serious article based on journals and other creditable resources for educational purposes. An engineer, who writes, draws and has a big mouth. I am sure hope it would not be a lethal combination. Great, this ends up just another post about myself (I had a different post in mind). Before you all getting bored about Hot Shit Form Here, I would like to give a little heads up. My next post would be about marriage! I am not married yet. At least it sure would not be about me, right.

Paris - The Signs (Volume 1)

I have dragging this post (and few posts to come) for quite sometimes. I am not sure whether it was suitable for general viewing. Few of my readers may be offended by it and think I am just like to brag about my family. So, if you're easily offended by people experiences, please don't continue reading. This post may contain excessively high dose of self experiences, family wealth and personal health and easily be considered as highly inappropriate for this everything-is-high-price year reading material. You have been warned.

Paris, why it sound so special? I actually opposed the idea to go here at first time. I prefer to go London, which my family went for summer holiday last year (which is a perfect place for shopaholic a dedicated shopper like me). Plus, not one of us know a single word of French, except Bonjour and café. How do you want to enjoy your holiday if you can’t understand their people? We actually planned to go to Switzerland, but considering the influx of people when the Euro starts, we changed it to Paris.

There are many signs that against us for this trip. We have to change the flight’s ticket more than twice, three accidents and broken ankle, limped and stitches.

The chronology of those bad signs
  • My little brother has a short semester – he later decided not to follow us
  • Changed the flight date as I have to fly alone on the different flight (my dad, mom and big brother already bought their tickets before me, as I don’t know when will my exam finish) – I don’t really like the idea of arriving to a country that I don’t understand a damn word, alone
  • Changed the apartment booking
  • My big brother changed his flight date as he just knows that he has examination the day of departure – he will fly a day later than us
  • My mom broke her ankle when she missed step and fall
  • I had a small accident (my first car accident) – scratched my mom’s car
  • My brother received a notice that he supposed to be exam will be postponed two weeks after we back to Malaysia – he decided not change his flight (which we thanked later)
  • We received an email detailing our apartment which was on the sixth floor. Oh, and the apartment doesn’t has a lift - a fact that was conveniently left untold by the owner
  • There was news about public transportation’s strikes in France
  • My brother had a bad accident a day before our flight
  • My limped and stitched brother flies alone to Paris
My mom sure that those were signs that we shouldn’t go to Paris. Nevertheless, we continue our plan. We arrived at Aeroport Charles de Gaulle after 13 hours of flight. The weather was bad until the belt sign was on for most of our flight. My seat was next to a 5 or 6 years-old boy, who father is a MAS worker – most probably an engineer or pilot (handsomely build and soft spoken). The entire stewardesses were very friendly with his father. I even saw some of them flirting with him! Meanwhile, his wife was very nice with me. We had a few chat and about where have we been for holidays – she said the most interesting place she had been was to Rome, Italy. Although at first she assumed that I was a student in Paris and fly alone as my mom and dad were at the front row. My brother arrived safely a day after.

Some of the pictures (which I release step by step considering all 3000 plus pictures. lol). As always, let the page fully loaded first before click the pictures. It will be a slideshow pictures. Just click Next and Prev button at the left or right of the slideshow. Enjoy..

Other bad incidents during past holiday:
  • My grandmother, last year, at the time she was 70-years-old, broke one of her ribcage during her Hajj at Mecca with my parents. She didn't noticed it until her back to Malaysia, has a prolonged fever, chest pained and later, x-ray showed the broken bone.
  • Few years back, my grandmother also kicked by a kangaroo during a zoo walking in Queensland. Her doesn't suffer from any injuries but that incident caught by taped :)
  • My brother nearly pick pocketed on the tube in London during last year summer vacation. That fella already open his bag. Thank God he noticed.
  • One of my mother trolley bags (oh my, I wonder sometimes why she always carry lots of bags during holiday) slide out from one of Turkey's train last couple years. Luckily, she managed to bring it inside the train just in the time for its departure.
How about your holiday? Has any mishap but interesting incident happen? Share with us! Oh, and do let me know if you want to the next post, Paris - The First Impression? Enjoy the pictures (it is a slideshow, just click next and previous button when it's loaded. If you can't refresh your page. You could always tell me if you still can't see the pictures. But please let the page fully loaded first :)

My Holiday Mood

Sitting By the Window | NotoriousRaychel

My battle with laziness has began since I can remember. The peak of it usually when I am on holiday. After all, the meaning of holiday is "rest and relax" in which I am fondly define as resting in term of mind, body and spirit. I rest my mind from making any major decision such as what I gonna have for dinner or should I wearing this white t-shirt with a long pant or short pant (which sometimes result in me not wearing anything except towel around my wrist - not like my house has any visitor during the workdays anyway, as only the maid and I in the house most of the time). Resting my body in which I rest all my muscles except (specifically) my right arm muscle for a few evil ride, if you know what I mean.

However, I did do some push and sit-up daily routine, just to drop a few sweat and I will definitely try materialize my plan (which I have been planning since the start of my holiday - a month ago) to climb the mountain that in a walking distance from my house. And in term of spirit, I usually reserve my spirit only for watching movies, reading books and for my social visit once in a week. The social visit could means hanging out with my friends or going to shopping with and rarely without my mom (I don't carry cash in holiday :). I am looking forward for that time of the week because it was the time I see a real person other than my family and not-the-myspace-facebook-friendster-human-being. That my friends, is what I call holiday. How about you?

So, last weekend, I wanted to finish my entry about my in-case-you-don't-know summer vacation, but couldn't find the right words nor times to scramble down my ideas. My grandma and her entourage which consist of my aunts, uncles and cousins went down to Johore from Kuala Lumpur (KL) to visit a sick relative and decided to stop by our home (all my relatives including my grandmother are staying in KL). Most of my cousins are around 1-4 years old and although they have their own maids with them, the unbearable noise their making are enough to drive me out from the house. Just consider this, the daily condition is, I will wake up only when the birds are singing and damn knocking on my room windows (I live in a jungle, remember?). When all those natural sounds are replaced with a crying and screaming, my ears just couldn't handle it.

I decided to call my friend, and we went to watch Kung Fu Panda. The movie is about a fat panda (is there any slim panda?) who unexpectedly picked as to be the dragon warrior and along with the Furious Five; Tigress (voice Angelina Jolie), Viper (voice Lucy Liu), Crane (voice David Cross), Monkey (voice Jackie Chan), and Mantis (voice Seth Rogen) fighting the power hunger snow leopard, Tai Lung (voice Ian McShane). Although some says that the movie offers nothing new compared to Ratatouillle and Shrek, I found it very entertaining. The cinema is filled with laughter from different races and various range of ages. I feel like we are united somehow by this film.

Then, after hanging couple hours more with my friend, I went back home just to continue watching another 4 more movies! Before going home I bought 6 DVDs (buy 5 and free 1) as I fallen for the charms of the DVD seller. I usually pay more for a good service then a less for the same stuff but from a less friendlier seller. The Onion Movie, Mama's Boy, What Happen In Vegas, Las Vegas 21 and Semi Pro. And I did watch all of them except Semi Pro that day! So, to further emphasis my holiday mood, these are the reviews for Kung fu Panda, The Onion Movie and What Happen in Vegas. I couldn't find enough time to do the rest of the movies' review. Will do it as soon as possible.

What Happen In Vegas
  • Although Diaz is not as funny as Jessica Alba in Good Luck Chuck, Kutcher and Diaz is indeed a great couple together
  • The movie was funny mainly due to Jack's best bud, Hater (Rob Corddry) and Joy's best pal, Tipper (Lake Bell) dialogs and actions
  • For pervert normal people out there, you could see Kucther in his boxer and Diaz in her bra - nice (evil grin)
(for the rest of Party, Sex, Gamble and Married in Vegas review, please visit my other blog, My Little Black Pot)

The Onion Movie
  • It plays on (and sometimes cross) the line of racist, sexual exploitation, gay issues and handicaps. You must always keep it close to your mind that this is a fake news
  • The funniness of it just last for a few second. You want to laugh but before you know it already not funny anymore
  • It fills with stupidity. Enough said
(for the rest A Smelly Onion review, please visit my other blog, My Little Black Pot)

Kung Fu Panda
  • I never been quite a Jack Black's fan. Okay, although I like his character in The Holiday (when he's less funny), he always seems to be in the same character from movie to movie. Surprisingly, I love and want to hug him (my curious self wanted to know if I could reach both of my arms around his body) in this movie and I am not even gay. Thanks for being the cutest panda ever, seriously (compared to his bearded face) and I love the scene when he was trying to find foods to eat because "I love to eat when I am depressed" - how real is that? We love too Po!
  • All the miniature of the characters definitely will be sold out in an hour! (they already released a Kung Fu Panda's game for PlayStation 3 - check it out here)
(for the rest of Kicking Butts Panda review, please visit my other blog, My Little Black Pot)

Hugs n Kisses (not me) | edited from smiles4angels

So, there you go. Sorry if I am missing out few posts in your blog. The laziness of holiday is drive me crazy (magnificently without even doing anything). For those who have live visitor's detector in their blog, and noticed me being there but left without giving any comment, don't be mad. I am just enjoying the sunshine from my window in front of my work desk, sunbathing while wearing a pair of sunglasses, (not that I think I am cool) it just I want to savor the rest of my holiday. See you soon!

Life as a Book

Picture from Flickr

I love to read books. Often I think that my love life is like chapters in a book that is mine. And that is why some people said that unintelligent people easily fall in love. Because they easily forget how their partner has misdoing them in the previous chapter or they just blind enough to be fooled by them. Sometimes it was a short chapter and it took only a few hours to finish it. In the other hand, you would have to spend a week to finish one.

So, I treat my life as a book. I printed it out with the best cover I could think off, and wrapped it with a clear plastic wrapper. Paranoia of judging book by its cover never revised my inner self, but I just in love for beautiful things (or in my love life sense, a beautiful person). Analogically, it is like gambling. If you take risk enough, you may end up in a jackpot, but you also should know when to stop before it's too late.

I once came across with a very uninteresting cover of an old book. It has a mini van in front of it with a mold green background. And its title was so long it seems to be taken straight out from the story itself. Nevertheless, I was dreadfully bored and it's the only book I could found. So, I read it anyway. It turns out to teach me lessons of life more than any motivational or self help book I ever read. Plus, it's damn funny too.

I also refer other people's life as a book. Although it sometimes has the same theme, like a love theme (when a person always falls in love - most probably some sort of adventures love as I rarely read silly love story) , you will never get bored of it because it was written by a different person with a different point of view. Some inserted in between chapters with humor, while others with a tear or two. There are an introduction, climax and the end. Some happily ever after end and some are not. If you read other's life carefully, you could even list out the index of their life.

So, here I am. Back to front my loyal laptop. Typing about life rather than any other life saving or/and interesting topic. As you may have noticed, I went for a holiday and just back home on the 4th June. My holiday is great. But that my friend, would be in the next chapter. :) I am still savoring every inch of my holiday mood. Have a great weekend.

Forgive My French

Language is the most interesting (and damn hard) subject to learn. At a "tender" age of 20, I already learn several languages such as English, Arabic and the latest is French. And of course, there is my mother tongue (why they don't call it father tongue?) language which is Bahasa Melayu (or Malay language or Bahasa Malaysia. Whichever they call it now). I always wanted to write a post in Malay but I am not confident enough with my ability to construct beautiful sentences that will captivate my readers (I never had an "A" for my Bahasa Melayu subject in school). So, just hope that the day will come soon.

Language may sometimes misinterpreted. The ability to diagnose a language must be achieved with a full consideration of its culture and where the place of language is spoken. How we portraits our ideas into words, to make a sentence just to form an understandable argument. It's a hard process to learn a new language. Sometimes, your tongue just couldn't handle it. As my Indian friend once said, we need a short tongue to learn Malay language, a shorter one to learn English, and a longer one to learn Tamil's. Can anyone tells me how to grow your tongue LONGER?

So, in the midst of my struggling to learn French, I flip up my ultimate guide into the French language, which is The Complete Idiot's Guide to Learning French On Your Own, and it stated that there are ten reasons only why you should learn French:

  1. You love Colette's romance novels.
  2. You'd like to root for the Montréal Canadiens in French.
  3. You loved Les Misérables so much that you decided to read the original version in its entirety—all 600 plus pages.
  4. You want to avoid ordering francs with mustard and sauerkraut.
  5. You never know when you're going to run into Catherine Deneuve.
  6. You want to impress your date at a French restaurant.
  7. You love French movies but find the subtitles too distracting.
  8. They won't let you onto the topless beach in Martinique without it.
  9. Two words: French Fries.
  10. You want to meet St. Exupéry's “Little Prince.”
Note: I only know what the heck he's talking about start from the number 6 and higher. So, which one is my reason for learning French? It's not even there! I wanted to learn French because of its beauty and for the art of the language itself. I wanted to feel good, sexy and could make anyone drooling in my presence. It's the same feeling when you wish to learn British accent so that your partner will mistakenly think that you're as hot and as sexy as Jude Law. Or when you have the urge to learn Chinese so that you will be master in kungfu. Or when you though that if you speak in Korean or Japanese, you will be automatically beautiful (without any clear gender line) and your partner will somehow become irresistible-dolly-cute.

Oh, and it may be because I will be having my short holiday there. I will be going to Paris for 10 days (or more) with my family. My flight will leave this Sunday, which means I have to go to Kuala Lumpur either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I am not sure whether I will bring along my laptop, so just in case I am not, I just want to tell all my readers that I am won't be updating my blog until I am back to Malaysia.

This year has done plenty of good things for me. Nevertheless, when it comes to my study, it was one of the most busy, mind breaking, hormone building year. I am looking forward for the half of this 2008 year! Have a great week, and happy holiday everyone!!

à bientôt (so long),

Close at Home

My butts are killing me. After 9 hours sitting on that bus, I really glad (honored, happy, highly happy, ecstasy-ly happy and every single words that could describe a positive feeling). After about 3 month not going home, I love being able to jump on my comfortable bed without any sound of cracking to be heard, love the fast and reliable internet connectivity, eat everything that I want without thinking about the price, watch television with its remote in my hand and lastly just feel belonging. Oh, and I love my cat too!

I have a cat name Heejeerah which means “moving from one place to another”. It is an Arabic word and we modified its spelling to suit our family (my siblings and my name was spelled with double letter, e.g Haaziq, note the double "A"s). My family bought him for USD120 about 5 years ago. Now he still single (as my family decided to sterile him). I took quite a long time to determine my cat breed. Whether it was American Shorthair, American Bobtail or American Wirehair. The pet owner said he was American interbred with Persian, all I know that he was an American cat that has longer fur than normal cat and his face is not so scary like Persian cat.

One of a bad thing about him is that he likes to chase (and bite) anything that is moving, whether is was an innocent animal, or my leg (ouch!). As you may heard like any pet story, most of them had done honorable acts such as saving the owner, chase down the burglar, bite the owner when he's hungry and so on like what you could see in Animal Planet channel. I always thought that they just making them up or exaggerated the story to become more heroic than the reality. However, my cat did couple acts that were honorable.

First incident:
It happen a week before Hari Raya Aidilfitri (a festival celebrated by Muslim after a month of fasting) few years back. My maid was boiling water in early morning and then she felt asleep. Suddenly, I woke up after I heard my cat rare purring. That was when I saw my room on the second floor already filled with smoke. Thank God nothing severely burnt.

Second incident:
My house was broken in by burglars. All of my family members were tied up and gathered in one room. Although we lost quite a fortune that night, we still thankful to be alive. When did my cat came in the story? He was bravely struggled away from those burglars to save himself. Haha. At least, he wasn't kidnapped right?

Anyway, that all about my cat. Think twice before you taking any cute and adorable pet. We need to take care of their health, food, happiness and cost of maintaining them and you should be able to treat them just like other human being. Think also about your neighbors opinion. I used to have a dog named Jackie. But he died after being shot by Animal Control Officers as one of my neighbor complained to them Jackie wasn't suitable to be in the our Malay neighborhood.

Here are pictures from my brother personal collection about a cat that was kidnapped strangely enough by MONKEYS that thought the cat was one of his own kind! Just click the link below! (it's javascript - won't take you away from this page :)
